Felts Field Neighbor Day: Saturday, June 1, 2024
Felts Field (SFF) wasn’t just Spokane’s first commercial airport, before the opening of Spokane International Airport, it’s also one of the oldest federally designated airports in the nation. Today, Felts Field is primarily used for general aviation, but each year, to celebrate the airfield’s rich history and continued community significance, Spokane Airports host Neighbor Day: a free event for community members to visit the airfield, explore community aviation exhibits and even enjoy flight demonstrations.
This year’s Neighbor Day event will be hosted on Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is FREE and open to the public. For directions and information please call 800-493-7515.
- WHAT TO EXPECT: Attendees will able to stroll through a unique static aircraft display, visit exhibits and displays from community and aviation organizations, enjoy culinary delights from nearly a dozen local food trucks and more. This event is FREE to attend. For flight safety purposes we require those attending Neighbor Day to wear shirts and shoes, and only service animals can be allowed inside the airfield's security fence.
